MAINTENANCE

Madrona Craftsman restored to its original glory

They sure don't make things like they used to, but Promondo specializes in remodeling classic homes to their original finishes without sacrificing the advantages of modern techniques and technology. We have rebuilt and modified many classic homes throughout Seattle so that they look as good as they used to and function better than ever.

Downtown view condo gets 21st century update

Catapulted into the present from its original design, this 1991 view condo has been fully updated. We installed new tile flooring throughout this 2-bedroom suite, with faux-wood, porcelain plank tile in the kitchen, living space and bedrooms. The master bathroom walls are clad with vinyl wall covering, while the guest bathroom has all new tile shower walls and floor, and a tile wainscot. The guest bedroom is enclosed behind sea salt green frosted glass doors. Distressed wood and high gloss cabinet fronts create a multi-textured contrast with the leather-like finish of the quartz countertops.

A historical home gets back to basics

The shower was tiled floor to ceiling in classic white subway tile. A hexagon mosaic was installed for the floor in and out of the shower. The new sink, toilet and fixtures all match the clean Craftsman feel of this bathroom.

A storybook transformation

And then God said, "Let there be light!" This Broadmoor colonial home was reborn  from the dark ages into a clean, well-lit space. We installed floor to ceiling wall panels in the dining room and upstairs bedrooms; the basement family room was clad in board & batten; the kitchen and laundry room walls and ceiling were blanketed with bead board.

Masters of design re-design their office

Small design firm goes big with an office expansion and refresh. Removing the wall that separated the conference and kitchenette area created a wide open and airy space. Building the partial height dividing wall for the conference room allows for separation from the rest of the space without detracting from the expansive feel. We exposed the original hardwood floor, restoring some of the historic charm to the space.
